Several MCSHS drama students attended the Kentucky Thespian Festival in Owensboro this past weekend. As part of the festival, students can participate in  the "Thespys" which are an adjudicated audition in acting, musical theatre, and dance. The highest possible rating is a "Superior"

MCSHS had several students participate in the Thespys, and we had TWO students earn a Superior Rating. 

Kylie Mobley (11th) -  Superior in Musical Theatre Solo AND Musical Theatre Duet

Presley Boyne (12th) - Superior in Musical Theatre Duet

This rating allows them to advance and participate in the International Thespian Festival in June in Indiana.
